Choosing a Honeymoon Resort

This is a difficult area to do justice to, because quite frankly there are so many really high quality honeymoon resorts that it comes down to personal opinion, which of course is totally subjective.

The author by nature is a researcher, and before booking any vacation never mind a honeymoon he will have consulted online websites such as Tripadvisor to try to gain an insight as to other people's opinions on a resort before making a judgement. This is only part of a process, as long as the reader understands that not all of the reports will be true, as occasionally there is a desire to sabotage the good name of a particular resort perhaps by rivals.

Leaving that aside you will get an overall picture, and there are other internet resources to support any opinions you may be forming. Insofar as the best honeymoon resorts are concerns what follows is a very objective list, based on personal research, some experience although not honeymoon personally, and opinions from clients and colleagues, and friends.

The honeymoon resorts are by no means all identical, some are large, some small and intimate, some quite old fashioned almost rustic, and some very modern all glass and chrome. There is therefore a wide range to suit all tastes and incomes.

In terms of naming names there are some absolutely outstanding top honeymoon resorts, and it would be appropriate to name a few here. The top in many people's books is at Puerto Vallerta and is the Four Seasons Punta Mita with probably the best service and facilities imaginable.

On the Hawaiian Islands the Four Seasons Hualalai on the Big island of Hawaii would be perfect for honeymooning golfers who also love a great beach, and Princeville Hotel on Kauai is just amazing right on Hanalei Bay.

In the Caribbean you will have to go a long way to beat Galley Bay on Antigua or Little Dix Bay on the British Virgin Islands set in the middle of a national park boasting some of the best service anywhere never mind the Caribbean. Not far away in the US Virgin Islands you will find Caneel Bay possibly one of the most beautiful places anywhere in the Caribbean. Staying in that part of the world You might consider Anse Chastanet, a small hotel in an amazing location, and quite unique.

The reader will realise by now that the author's choices differ from other writer's opinions. That is the beauty of selecting a honeymoon resort, everyone is different as is everyone's opinion.
